Latest City Gate Activities

A small team of three people from City Gate Church are currently in the Transkei area of South Africa, helping to provide education and assistance to some rural communities affected by HIV. Their visit is a very useful way of ensuring we focus on this area of need as World Aids Day approaches (1st December).

This weekend we are holding the final Stepping Beyond event of 2009. On Saturday 21st November at 7pm the Creative Worship Evening will take place at City Gate Centre .. click for more info ...

We are also holding a short service on Sunday Morning (22nd November) which will be centred around the breaking of bread (communion)

Next Saturday (28th November) we are holding our Christmas Fayre at 3pm. Do please come along and join in all of the fun.

We would love you to join us at our Christmas Celebration at City Gate Centre on 13th December at 3.30pm when we will be having carols and lovely refreshments - a chance to unpack the real meaning of Christmas.

Many charitable organisations are continuing to struggle due to a number of financial challenges and Brighton and Hove FareShare is no exception. We are always grateful for any help as we distribute around 6 tonnes of food to needy people across the city each week. An easy way to help us if you are shopping in Waitrose (Western Road, Brighton) is to vote for FareShare to be their charity of the month.
